Please note that, in respect of credit card sales, all books available from Beckenham Publishing Limited are sold on its behalf by Seaforde Limited. This includes the Pocket Guide to Golf Courses and Player's View series.

 

Payment Card Details Transmission and Security Capabilities

We need your credit or debit card information (card number, expiry date, billing address, postcode, name on card and CSV number) to process your payments. All such information will only be transmitted using secure servers. We will not use this information for any purpose other than to process your payments. Your CSV number will not be stored once payment has been successful.

Credit card details are not stored anywhere in any database of ours at any time.

 

Permanent Establishment: this is our postal address, as given above.

 

Product Returns: we are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect. If you have received a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please follow the instructions below. Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges and other services–see our Refunds Policy, below

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights (see below).

You may be asked to provide your personal information anytime you are in contact with Seaforde Limited or an affiliated company. Seaforde and its affiliates may share this personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy. At times, Seaforde Limited may make certain personal information available to strategic partners that work with Seaforde Limited to provide products and services, or that help Seaforde Limited market to customers.

Seaforde Limited shares personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, extending credit, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products and services to you, managing and enhancing customer data, providing customer service, assessing your interest in our products and services, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information and may be located wherever Seaforde Limited operates.

It may be necessary — by law, legal process, litigation and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence — for Seaforde Limited to disclose your personal information. Seaforde Limited makes it easy for you to keep your personal information accurate, complete and up to date. We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We make good faith efforts to provide you with access so you can request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if Seaforde Limited is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardise the privacy of others, are extremely impractical or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, except as required by law (e.g. passport details). If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, other than as required by law, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

Seaforde Limited websites, products, applications and services may contain links to third-party websites, products and services. Our products and services may also use or offer products or services from third parties. Information collected by third parties, which may include such things as location data or contact details, is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.

Product Delivery policy

We will endeavour to dispatch products within 24 hours (working days only) of receiving your order. As a general rule we aim to deliver within the UK in 3 to 5 working days and into mainland Europe by surface mail within 7 to 10 working days. Carriage costs for delivery by airmail will be advised at the time and may be charged at cost.

Whilst we have a policy of world wide delivery it is possible that in certain circumstances we have the right to decline to supply books to certain geographic locations.

 

Returns: 30-day Returns Policy

  • If for any reason you are unhappy with a product purchased from Seaforde, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid.

  • Note: Seaforde cannot accept returns any of our products purchased from third-party sellers. Instead you should deal direct with the seller with whom you dealt.

 

Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently:

  • fill out the back of the delivery slip giving the reason for the return if you do not have the original delivery slip, please send us a note detailing the reason for return, including the date when you purchased the book(s) or physical photograph(s) from us, your name, email address and daytime telephone number. wrap the item securely in its original packaging

  • send the package to the address below:

  • please note that we cannot accept returns delivered by hand. We will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your return–this may take up to three weeks.

  • for your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than £50

In the event of Seaforde sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return that item to Seaforde within 30 days. Seaforde reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to Seaforde within 30 days of the date on which Seaforde confirms it will issue a replacement.

If we have sent you an incorrect item, as soon as you discover this, email info@mystays.net and let us know. We’ll send you the correct item as soon as we can. Send the original item back to us (please follow the instructions above) and we’ll make sure you are not charged for it.

 

Refunds Policy

Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights (see below). When you send your item back to us, we’ll process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within three weeks of our receiving your return.

Note: Seaforde cannot generate refunds for items purchased from third-party sellers; in such circumstances you should deal with the third party who sold the item to you.

 

How Refunds Are Calculated

Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect: if you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and we’ll reimburse your costs in returning it to us. We will also refund the cost of other services provided to you in connection with your purchase, where reasonably applicable.

 

Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period: by law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. For more information refer to your statutory rights (below).

 

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

  • where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we’ll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred; where you are returning an entire order, we’ll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred

  • we will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK

 

We will not refund the cost of other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

Items returned under the 30-day returns policy: where you are withdrawing from your purchase between seven and 30 days after delivery, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.

 

Your Statutory Rights

 

Cooling-off Period: there may be occasions when you may want to return items or withdraw from contracts. That’s why under our 30-day returns/withdrawal policy, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item or if you are unhappy with a service, you may withdraw from it within 30 days of the date on which you signed for acceptance of it. By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products and services, except for those services which have already been delivered.

 

To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please fill out the delivery slip that accompanies your items giving the reason for the return as “contract cancellation”, or inform us that you do not wish to proceed with the service for which you have signed. Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to Seaforde with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than 50 GBP. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.

You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of your order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item’s normal postage charge–we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge.
